Etienne moved to the gulf islands in 1990. Inspired by his clients and the natural beauty of the Islands he gradually gave up the building trade to concentrate on design. Over the years, Etienne has designed more than fifty custom homes throughout British Columbia.

Etienne’s homes combine beauty and functionality to create high-quality masterpieces. Celebrating and showcasing the best of west coast materials and design.

Mary Alice

Based in the Comox Valley for over twelve years, Mary came to building design as an experienced carpenter and renovator. She's worked on multiple single-family dwellings as well as some light commercial and mixed-use projects since then.

A recent graduate of the Drafting and Design program at North Island College, she's currently working towards finishing her Bachelors in Construction Management at BCIT.

Michelle O'Neill

Michelle grew up in the Comox Valley and after living in Vancouver for 8 years decided to move back with her family. They've been living on Denman Island for 5 years now.
Though she has extensive experience in HR and office management, Etienne Design is her first position in the construction industry. You wouldn't have guessed it though, she's thrown herself into the challenge with both feet.

Jessica Booth

After finishing her bachelor's degree in Architecture back home in the UK, Jessica packed her bags and took off on several adventures across various parts of the globe. Between mountain climbing in New Zealand and learning to cook in Ireland, she found her way here to the Gulf Islands where she now lives. She's settling back into the construction industry and is looking forward to applying some of her experience with European design to the west coast style.
